Get it loud in libraries is the initiative to put live music on in libraries. Since libraries are generally cool, old spaces with a lot of atmosphere, added to the slightly subversive feel of partying somewhere where silence is normally the rule makes for an awesome night! I build and maintain getitloudinlibraries.com for free at present, and the scene is just starting to go nationwide from humble beginnings in the north of England somewhere. Last weekend saw Darwin Deez perform at Westminster Reference Library
